The city's festival of early music will revolve around the theme of "Bach and Mozart pure".
Castle place open air - "Die verkaufte Braut"

Once a year artists from Braunschweig State theatre and State orchestra leave their houses and perform outdoors. During this summer special opera and operette will be staged in a unique historic setting, surrounded by the Cathedral St. Blasii and Dankwarderode Castle.
Exhibition "Elefantenreich. Eine Fossilwelt in Europa"

The Natural History Muesum presents the exhibition. One special highlight: A reconstruction of the extinct forest elephant with a shoulder height of more than 4 meters.
