Ancient Egyptian collection
The internationally renowned Roemer-und Pelizaeus-Museum houses one of the largest collections of ancient Egyptian collections in Europe. Many unique testimony to the history and administration, religion, architecture and art of the Pharaonic period lead visitors from the beginnings of Egyptian civilization around 4000 BC to the period around 1000 AD.
