Wolfenbüttel Easter Nest
7 April 2012
Traditionally, in Holy Saturday, right in the middle of the old city centre, a huge straw easter nest filled with sweets and easter eggs attracts especially families with children. The Easter Bunny appears personally at 12.00 noon. In the afternoon, the popular duck race in the river Oker offers lots of fun.
3rd Wolfenbüttel Wine Festival

Wine sellers, a wide range of foods to accompany wine, the beautiful background of the Wolfenbüttel city market, and music to create a good mood – these are the mainstays of the „Weinfest“ in Wolfenbüttel, which takes place every year on the last May weekend. To your health!
Wolfenbüttel Old Town Festival

Every three years, Wolfenbüttel citizens and guests from the entire region gather for this 3-day festival to celebrate. Apart from well-known bands in the evenings, the special highlight on Sunday is the festival parade with over 1,500 participants. Come celebrate with us!
Wolfenbüttel Christmas Market

Since 1585, there has been a Christmas market in Wolfenbüttel, which makes it one of the oldest markets in Germany. What is new this year is the unique arts & crafts quarter with half-timbered buildings designed especially for the Wolfenbüttel Weihnachtsmarkt. Like a fairy tale come true!
