Old Botanical Gardens
The Rampart/Old Botanical Gardens Part of the rampart that circles the old town, it consists of the remains of the earthwall fortification built between 1362 and 1577. In 1763 linden trees were planted along the rampart footpath. On both sides of the rampart lie the Old Botanical Gardens, layed out in 1736. Entrances: Untere Karspüle und Wilhelm-Weber-Straße. Opening hours: daily 10.00 - 18.00
