Let yourself be enchanted by the bright lights of Hameln’s Christmas market during Advent! In the Piped Piper's town a delightful feeling of anticipation surrounds the Christmas pyramid 11 metres in height. Set in the middle of the delightful old town with its lovingly restored half-timbered houses and unique buildings in the Weser Renaissance style, this Christmas market is one of the most atmospheric in North Germany. 70 festively decorated little wooden houses invite visitors to take a stroll around the Hochzeitshaus and Marktet Church. Special attractions include the artisans' village "Lütjen Markt", Advent boat trips down the river Weser and the glassworks at the historic Pulverturm, where visitors can even blow their own Christmas decorations under supervision.
