Tradition and the Art of Brewing
Half-day programme describing the history of beer brewing in Goslar. Full of facts but entertaining at the same time: led by Goslar‘s guides as well as a brewer of Gosebier, who uses traditional methods to produce the once almost forgotten “Gose“ beer. A true adventure tour that also features specialities made with Gosebier! (lasting approx. 4.5 hours).
Programme:
- Guided tour of the city “On the trail of Goslar‘s Gose“ incl. a visit to the ancestral home of the Siemens family (lasting approx. 1.5 hours)
- Beer seminar: the art of brewing Gose bier including tasting session
- Award of a “Beer Connoisseur“ certificate
- Meal featuring specialities made with Goslar‘s Gosebier

Discover Local History & Finest Spirits
Half-day programme with highlights of Goslar history and epicurean delights at the near-by distillery of Wöltingerode monastery, famous since 1693 for excellent liqueurs and its "Klosterkorn". Find out exciting facts about the traditional art of distilling fine spirits.
This offer includes: (Duration approx. 5 hrs, for groups of 20 person minimum)
- Guided tour of the city, on foot: "Views of History: On Location & Multimedia" with visit to the "Huldigungssaal" 3-D multimedia event in Goslar (duration approx. 2 hrs)
- Transfer by group´s own bus to the Korn distillery at Wöltingerode monastery (disatance approx. 7 km)
- Guided tour of the historic monastery distillery including a tasting in the vaults below the monastery church (duration approx. 1 hr)One meal ("Wöltingeroder Klostereintopf") at the refined "Klosterkrug" or at the restaurant of the "Klosterhotel"
