A salty day
You will start your adventurous day with a "Salty Walking Tour" through the historic old town. You will hear about the city's 1000 years of history, about the boom times of the Hanseatic League and about the consequences of salt mining.
After the city tour, you can choose between three restaurants offering an historic ambience for lunch. The special menu offers three different meals.
In the afternoon, you will visit the German Salt Museum (“Deutsches Salzmuseum”)and learn everything about the "white gold" of the Middle Ages.)
You can experience the saltiness of the city by jumping into the thermal bath SALÜ ("Salztherme Lüneburg"), one of the most beautiful thermal salt spas in Northern Germany. At the end, you will receive a small surprise gift as an unforgettable souvenir of your day in Lüneburg.
